John Lopez, Account Executive, Social Media Consultant

As an Account Executive, John is responsible for developing and implementing media outreach efforts, including story development, media pitching and interview facilitation. He is also responsible for social media initiatives and online media strategies. John's prior experience includes government public affairs, non-profit public relations, and media advocacy. Prior to joining Harden Partners, John served on the media relations staff of Senator Barbara Boxer and San Diego Mayor Jerry Sanders. He also spent several years as media relations specialist for Mental Health Systems, Inc., a large non-profit headquartered in San Diego. At Mental Health, he led public relations initiatives, which resulted in more than 40 news stories that helped establish the organization as a source authority on mental health and substance abuse public policy issues.
