
Erin Burke, Corporate Communications and Media Relations Consultant
As a PR manager for the past decade, Erin has helped clients gain visibility in trade, financial and national press, including The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Bloomberg News, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, Investment News and Smart Money, among many others. Her expertise includes writing, media strategy and placement, research and group media events for public and private companies. In addition to her media relations expertise, Erin has over a decade of experience in investor relations, including work on initial public offerings, corporate reorganizations, shareholder communications and financial reporting for both U.S. and international companies.
During her eight-year tenure with Ludgate Communications, she was responsible for the development and implementation of the financial communication programs for Cadbury Schweppes, Pechiney, Koor Industries, OMV and Reliance Industries. She specialized in creating focused investor relations programs based on market perception research, message development and institutional investor and sell-side analyst targeting to meet the particular communication goals of her clients.
Erin is a graduate of Rutgers University where she received a degree in Economics and Accounting. She currently serves as the PR Chairperson of The Junior League of Long Island and is a member of the Public Relations Society of America. She resides in Long Island, New York with her husband and two children. When not pitching the media, Erin can be found running, playing tennis with her family, boating and skiing.
